Overview
“First light” refers to the first successful test of a microwave laser for Project Elara.
Note: The details of the design have now been moved to Prototype free-electron maser design, which details both the full-scale and prototype versions of the proposed system.
Construction and Testing
Our experimental setup will be (but not be limited to) at least a software waveguide for measurement purposes. The experiment must be conducted in shielded conditions, with a Faraday cage or similar.
